Property Location and Ownership
The Dome Hill project consists of 147 claims (100% Nevoro) situated on the Nevada-California border, approximately 58 km southwest of Hawthorne, NV in the Walker Lane mineral belt.
Recent Developments
Following a program of mapping and sampling in 2007, a Notice of Intent has been filed with the US Forestry Service in preparation for drilling later in 2008. Archaeological and biological surveys as required in the permit application process are underway.
Geology and Historic Development
Four mineralized, northeast-trending, epithermal, acid-sulfate veins have been identified and have strike lengths of up to 2300 m (7,500 feet) and widths varying from 3 to 60 m (10 to 200 feet). Siliceous, hydrothermal breccias in the core of the veins contain up to 31.8 g/t (0.92 oz/ton) gold. The style and intensity of the district-scale alteration zones surrounding the veins suggest the potential for porphyry-style mineralization at depth.
